Male figure wearing a World War I Doughboy uniform stands holding a rifle with bayonet at his proper left side. His proper right arm is raised, his hand clenching a grenade.

The statue is flanked by four additional short pillars (two on each side), each commemorating those who served in additional wars (including World War II, Vietnam, and the War on Terror). Each pillar is topped with a gold eagle figure.
