Two small bronze sculptures are located in a courthouse plaza. A young girl sits on a stack of books while reading from a book in her proper right hand. A stuffed animal lays across her lap and her proper left hand holds a pair of glasses that rest on the top of her head.

Across the plaza from her is a young boy who is standing and reading from a book he is holding open in both hands. A small dog is at his proper left side, looking up at him.

The Bryan Chamber of Commerce held a community-wide naming contest for the sculptures which resulted in them being named Paige (girl) and Reed (boy).
