Steubenville, Ohio (Jefferson County) is the location of 25 unique murals commemorating the city, citizens, and historical significance. The majority of the murals are located downtown and two are located in Hollywood Plaza just 1.5 miles from downtown. This impressive mural honors Steubenville's native son Dean Martin (born Dino Paul Crocetti; June 7, 1917 – December 25, 1995). The mural is located on the Kroger building in Hollywood Plaza. The mural was created by artist Robert Deever (Toronto, Ohio) and shows Dean Martin along with Jerry Lewis, Frank Sinatra, and Sammy Davis Jr. In 1951 Dean and Sammy visited Steubenville and a parade in their honor followed.
