Brown County Veterans Memorial

This stone monument consists of a square, tiered base on top of which rests a sculpted flame. On the front of the base is etched: "This memorial dedicated by the people of Brown County to honor all veterans in times of peace and war" and an American flag. A prayer is etched on the left side of the base, and "The American Creed" (by William Tyler Page) is etched on the right side. The back of the base includes etchings of the emblems of all five branches of the U.S. armed forces.
