This chainsaw sculpture commemorates the mascot of Louisville, Ohio (Stark County). The sculpture was carved from a live tree by woodcarver Dan Kidd of Scio, Ohio. The artist used a chainsaw along with a few carving tools. The eyes are LED lights in deep emerald green and are powered by a nearby solar panel. Passersby will take notice and at night the sculpture is illuminated by several lights.

Kidd, the owner of Conotton Creek Woodworks in Scio, is a cabinetmaker and a self-taught professional woodcarver for the past four years. He is a native of Mingo Junction and has lived in Scio for 21 years.
