A life size likeness of former 1951-1978 Ohio State head football coach Woody Hayes. He is wearing his iconic baseball hat, tie, and wire rimmed glasses. He stands like he would on the sidelines, with his hands on his hips with an intent forward lean. Hayes was intense and determined, but he was caring and devoted to helping others as well. The lean forward is indicative of his rapt attention and focus, which was always there whether he was focusing on a game or on a troubled student. Hayes' lifetime W/L/T record with the Buckeyes is 205-61-10, and his career record of 238-72-10 is the ninth highest in NCAA Division I Coaching victories.
