In this life-size bronze portrayal of the Wright Brothers, Wilbur explains the concept of "wing warping" to Orville. This idea was a fundamental innovation that enabled the ability to turn or bank during flight.

This work was commissioned as part of the centennial celebration of the Wright brothers' first flight and was dedicated on July 3, 2003.
