Gift, The

The gift is composed of three main figures supporting a cubic-shaped load. This trinity of people carries wonderful gifts - knowledge and wisdom - on their shoulders and backs. Each person pushes forward in one direction, supporting the gift, ignoring the desire to quit, ignoring the pain. Three working as one to achieve a common goal. If one leaves, attaining the gifts of knowledge and wisdom becomes impossible. The trinity of figures, representitive of faculty, the student body and a soon-to-be mother symbolize the struggle of learning and the birth of knowledge.
