""St. Clare"" is a standing female figure wearing a robe of the order of St. Francis. She holds a hand mirror in her right hand on which is depicted the face of christ. She also wears a knotted which is the official belt of the order. Onher feet are open sandals. She is very pretty as is described of her countenance in written works about her from the time in which she lived in Italy. The mirror depiction is documented as the event that started her founding of the order and extending help to the poor, foundlings, and ohysically impaired people of her city.
