She is looking serenely outward and holding a bouquet of flowers in her proper left hand. The statue is mounted atop a stone pedestal. This item came from the McKelvy family estate in 2000, however it was acquired from Europe in the 1940s. She was a focal point of the family's gardens, overlooking the Maumee River. They called her "Lady in Waiting". Her name was changed to "Athena" by the Toledo Botanical Garden, and then later changed to "Flora".
