We maintain a listing of potential interns (generally students of sculpture at area universities) and of professional sculptors looking for help in the studio.

Employing an intern (paid or unpaid) can take some tasks off your shoulders and can give you a chance to make a difference for the next generation of artists.

If you are a student of art with 5-10 hours per week available, and are interested in working in a professional studio, we would like to put you in contact with local sculptors offering internships. Internships with area sculptors offer students of art valuable hands-on experience in professional art-making. Students develop relationships with sculptors, acquire new skills, and can sometimes earn college credit. Some of our internships are paid, while others are offered as learning experiences.

The application process varies between internships, but usually requires demonstrated interest and/or experience. Internships are open until filled. There is no application deadline. To begin the applicaiton process, call The Sculpture Center at 216-229-6527.
