Bridget
Lewis - Aug. 8 - Sept. 5, 2003
Bridget Lewis works in porcelain, muslin, screen-printing and a variety
of collage materials recreating mementos and souvenirs. She associates
personal experience with material objects (such as a spoon or a piece
of cloth), creates an environment for the object which acts as a
personal “journal”,
then invites the viewer to touch, hold, and perhaps, take home the
objects for discovery and reflection of their own.

Eddie
Fulcher - Oct. 10 - Nov. 7, 2003
Eddie Fulcher uses multiples of an everyday object to “sew” together
an installation. He enhances and exploits the similarities of an object
to create a new object with a new meaning. He works in glass, incorporating
flowers, dictionaries, neon, and furniture.

Justin
Coulter - Nov. 21 - Dec. 19, 2003
Justin Coulter creates in bronze and steel. The structures have a delicate,
gravity-oriented grace that invoke an instant story: negative space exploration,
special tools for a mission, a street sign calamity. His metals are embellished
with latex, paints, and paper.

Greg
Mueller - Jan.
9 - Feb. 6, 2004
Greg Mueller identifies with space and geometric order using forged and
fabricated steel, cast bronze and iron, and wood. His architectural forms
suggest a setting for outdoor community gathering and individual contemplation.
Details reveal a certain degree of deconstruction, exposing mesh, stripped
wire, rough edges, interior color and texture – allowing the viewer
to understand the inner layers of the material.

Nick
DePirro - Feb.
13 - Mar. 12, 2004
Nick De Pirro mixes a purity of manufactured form with a sense of dramatic
irony. His work has a machined precision quality carried with a sense
of play and absurdity. Materials include forged, machined, and welded
steel, cast bronze, iron, and lead, hydrostone, rubber, graphite and
grease. A structural object is defined, which on it’s own indicates
a sense of purpose. That object is then grouped with another object that
modifies the implied intent of the first object.

Voss
Finn - Mar. 19 - Apr. 16, 2004
Voss Finn creates a celebration of vintage wooden machine tool patterns
and found objects. These sculptural contraptions are fantastical, highly
colorful, some suspended in air, some free standing. Each piece embodies
a unique energy and intent – from frenetic and over purposed, to
placid and enduring.

Kim
Eggleston-Kraus - Jun. 11 - Jul. 9, 2004
Kim Eggleston Kraus constructs interactive architectural walls, fences,
corridors, spaces, and mazes. She identifies with a provided space and
designs a structure in which to discover the intricacies of the room.
Using common construction materials such as plastic fencing, wood, mirrors
and fabric, she manipulates sight lines and light levels for her grown-up
version of a child’s clubhouse.
