Brian Roberts Granaries have been transformed from fertile vessels to voided containers of sterile, genetically modified seeds. Images of fertility become depleted and skeletal in nature. Brian Roberts explores this metamorphosis in connection to his family's farm and his parents impending retirement from farming. As the family farm evolves; as the culture of agriculture changes; as biotech seeds produce infertile plants; so the granary can no longer be a receptacle that protects seed.
