Charles Rayburn
August 17 September 14, 2001

Charles Rayburn’s art is made from materials that "reveal their history." Using industrial scraps like old pallets, maps and other found materials, Charles sees this as rescuing an abandoned object. With this new use he hopes the viewer will identify with the object and notice the many aspects of it such as his choice and handling. The work is large in size, but made of parts. Please visit and enjoy Mr. Rayburn's special way of assembling materials

The Sculpture Center is dedicated to enhancing our community's appreciation of sculpture by fostering the careers of emerging sculptors and promotes the preservation of outdoor sculpture. It is located in University Circle at 1834 East 123rd Street.
