Krista Grecco
July 13 - August 10, 2001

Krista Grecco’s work is rooted in how objects obtain meaning through time, seeing the pieces as memorabilia, a record of one’s life. The human figure plays a large role in her work because it is a form that everyone can relate to. A blend of molded forms and hand built parts blur the technique. The use of clay allows her to merge the different parts into a final piece for the viewer to contemplate.

The Sculpture Center is dedicated to enhancing our community's appreciation of sculpture by fostering the careers of emerging sculptors and promotes the preservation of outdoor sculpture. It is located in University Circle at 1834 East 123rd Street.
