Justin Coulter

November 21 - December 19, 2003

About
Mr. Coulter creates sculpture in resin, bronze, plastic and guitar strings – embellished with latex, paper, and paint. His structures play with intention and placement, with a sense of fictional story, imaginary purpose, and absurdity of use.

Mr. Coulter has a B.A. in Sculpture from Cleveland State University. He is a guitarist and singer in the Cleveland band Roué, and works as a Lost Wax Art Casting Contractor for Light Sculpture Works, Art Foundry in Cleveland.

The free, public reception with the artist is Friday, Nov. 21, from 5 - 8 pm.

Gallery Talk
Robert Thurmer, sculptor, and teacher at Cleveland State University, and Art Gallery Director of the University Art Gallery, will lead a gallery talk with the artist on Thursday Dec. 4 at 6 pm. The gallery talk is free.
